Strange as it may seem, I could actually be causing my own panic attacks. Let's see how that could be possible.
Among the broad factors found responsible for causing panic attacks are heredity, external circumstantial factors and the unique personal ways in which we and our bodies react to them.
Often, people who have a history of panic disorder in their families experience the disorder themselves. It is not that heredity will certainly cause panic attack disorder but it increases the chance.
Other causes are external in nature and include traumatic life events, extreme thinking that causes a shift in bodily functions, certain medications and even conditions like hypoglycemia.
We may cause our own panics in several ways. Most often by worrying and anticipating about things too much. We may be too much anxious about the numerous things that are almost always ready at hand for someone to get anxious. The well known what-if syndrome is the culprit most of the times. The what-ifs can actually be endless. What if I lose control? What if something terrible happens? What if no one welcomes me?
When your body also starts to respond to all this negative pattern of thinking, the problem gets worse. A panic attack can shoot up your blood pressure, cause profuse sweating and you may find everything getting very confusing. During panic attacks excessive adrenaline may get produced too. That would make everything deteriorate. But you must realize that you’re worrying about things that might never actually happen, and you must break this cycle of thought pattern that sets in the process before you get a full fledged attack.
Panic attacks are very distressing. Most cases do not require medication, which is a sort of last resort. A new way of driving away panic attacks from your life is around. You could take a look at that.

Why Anxiety Panic Attacks Become So Unbearable?
Unless there is a real direct cause that triggers a panic attack, the diagnosis of anxiety panic disorder is very likely. Usually, there is a casual dimension to such an ailment that starts with some accidental or incidental anxiety bout. A panic anxiety disorder is recognized by specific physical reactions that are normal in the presence of a real life threat such as limb shaking, heavy sweating, accelerated heart beat, terror, confusion, pupil dilation, shortness of breath the impulse to scream or run and so on.
A panic attack takes only a minute or two to get to its climax, but will require at least thirty minutes if not a full hour to pass away completely. The characterization of an anxiety panic disorder results from the attack frequency, usually of an unequal intensity. Hence, several anxiety bouts per month definitely represent a worsening of the condition and something to keep one in sheer terror.
The frequency of the panic attack cases is higher with women in the twenty-to-thirty age group. The problem has a lower frequency rate in older or younger age groups; plus the common cause behind it is some form of separation trauma the patient went through as a child. An anxiety panic attack may start abruptly or gradually depending on how the symptoms appear.
There is often a difficulty in diagnosing many cases of anxiety panic disorder because of the inconclusive nature of certain medical tests. Many people thus spend their years looking for solutions with various specialists until they finally get to the bottom of the problem. The patient's condition is also likely to aggravate if the diagnosis and evaluation are not correct. On the other hand, once they learn what they suffer from, many people will avoid the elements that they associate with triggering of an anxiety panic episode.
Such considerations will keep panic attack sufferers away from social reunions, restaurants, church services, shopping centers, elevators or airplanes. If not treated properly, an anxiety panic attacks could ruin one's life, causing depression and destroying all the good parts of that person's existence. Plus, anxiety and its symptoms will be a lot more difficult to face in the cases of alcohol or substance abuse and self-medication.
However, there are hundreds of sufferers who have taken to panic attack remedial methods which are relatively new and which have been integrated into a program that sufferers can easily follow and start benefiting from almost immediately

How to Stop Panic Attacks Now
Having to cope with a panic attacks sufferer at home, I scoured all over to find a way out. Here I share with you the way I found and the real help that is available to you now. If you are suffering or have a loved one who suffers from panic attacks this post might be useful.
Here's how the thinking process of panic attacks sufferers go:
1. They are always on alert constantly keeping a watch on themselves and trying to feel within themselves all the time.
2. They long for being like others or for the old days when all this suffering wasn't there for them.
3. They fear for worse and for the most remote possibilities of fainting, collapsing, losing control, going crazy, stopping breathing, getting a heart attack or dying.
4. They doubt if they will be all right.
5. They look back at all the unpleasant episodes and for how long. They consider how terrible it is to go through this hell and they speculate if they can ever recover and what can happen if they can't.
6. While going through normal activities around others, they worry about breaking down or creating an embarrassment to themselves.
7. In their periods of peace they fervently hope if they can continue like this forever.
This is how an anxiety sufferer creates a completely unreal view of their present situation and future prospects and this is the web of lies that they bluff themselves with.
The truth is, it is the bewilderment, awe and fear of the state they are in that is keeping them in this state.
I also want to reassure you that complete recovery from this condition is possible quickly with the right help.
Furthermore as frightening as they are the panic attacks cannot harm you. They are not serious. I repeat, they are not serious.
Panic attack sufferer need not worry about life. It is not a life threatening condition, nor will it ever be.
Who doesn't need to worry anyway? Anxiety is part of our existence and is part of the package given to us for survival. But having to worry about every small daily activity or every time we are faced with a set of situations, places or remote possibility is not what came with the package. This only creates unfounded and unnecessary sufferings.
The intense episodes are so distressing and upsetting that you start worrying about a repeat and by that same process bring about a re-occurrence.
All this is unnecessary, even if individual cases, situations or challenges are different.
Anxiety sufferings can vary in intensity or seriousness. When day to day life gets affected, it is certainly a case of generalized anxiety disorder. This can be mild but if not attended to can grow into a monster of panic attack scale.
For treating panic attacks, psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, cognitive therapy, breathing and relaxation techniques, diet changes and exercise can all help. But some will find one method better than the others. People get frustrated because all this takes a bit of time just as your condition has taken time to develop.
Frustrated, people take to medication because drug can give some immediate relief. However even medication needs about 8 weeks to work fully and it has unwelcome side-effects and also cannot be stopped abruptly.
Fact is science is not yet fully sure of how it all really happens or a sure solution that will always work.
However, there are hundreds of sufferers who have taken to methods which are relatively new and which have been integrated into a program which sufferers can easily follow and start benefiting from almost immediately.
The most successful of these programs seem to be extremely successful and has helped more than 27,000 sufferers across the world.
